Wow! What an incredible weekend. The three days spent in San Antonio seemed more like 3 weeks! It rained buckets, then the sun would come out dry up the track and make it feel like a sauna. Austin did GREAT! We finished the weekend with two first place trophies in the Tag novice class and two second place trophies in the 80 junior class. Austin also walked away with $400 in prize money;to be used for kart parts and tires. His first money win! Way to go Austin! This past weekends races were great race except for the big crash at turn one - we were so relieved that Austin's buddy turned out to be o.k. and not seriously injured! We're looking forward to the end of June when we head back to Norman Oklahoma - Austin loves that track! Wish us luck!
